See Only The Channels You Want In Your Guide

DISH has A LOT of programming. While generally we consider this a good thing, I have also heard from some customers that they don’t want to spend time going through the hundreds of channels in their guide to find the ones they want to watch. Never fear — I have a solution! If you have a Hopper, Joey or Wally, you can create a Favorites List to only display the channels you want in your guide. Here’s how:
  1. In your Guide screen, press the Options button (or red color button if you have a 40.0) on your remote, and then select “Favorite Channels.” Then select “Favorite Settings.”
  2. You can customize up to four lists. Choose an open list, select “Edit Name” and give the list a name that is recognizable to you. Select “Save.”
  3. Choose the list you just named, select “Edit Channels” and then choose your desired channels. Once complete, press the Back button (or Recall button if you have a 40.0) on your remote.
  4. Go back to your Guide and press the Options button (or red color button). Select the Favorite Channels tile, and then choose your list to display only those channels in your guide.
If, in the future, you don’t see your channels, reference the top of the guide to see what channels are displaying.
