Fix Your Audio Issues In A Snap

Do you have a picture on your TV but no audio? Or is your audio low or distorted? You can typically resolve audio issues in one of three easy steps:
  1. Most audio issues occur because either the volume is too low or the audio has been accidentally muted. Try pressing the mute and volume up buttons on your remote to verify that the audio is set correctly. If you have surround sound, be sure your speaker is turned on and turned up.
  2. Make sure that the audio/video cable you are using (i.e. HDMI cable, RCA cable, etc.) is securely connected to both the receiver and TV. Loose connections can result in audio problems.
  3. If the above steps don’t resolve your issue, reset your receiver by unplugging it for 10 seconds, and then plugging it back in. If you are having audio issues with a Joey, try resetting your Hopper first, and then reset the Joey.
