DISH Cares - Wounded Warrior Project

DISH is proud to partner with the Wounded Warrior Project to positively impact injured veterans and their families. Through this partnership, DISH will select six “Warriors” and create a video series to amplify each of these military members’ heroic stories. As an ongoing partner, DISH will set up the Warriors with DISH service or Smart Home products based on needs they have at home. These Warriors have dedicated their lives to serve their country and give back to their communities, and DISH is privileged to give back with products and services to make the Warriors’ lives easier, more comfortable and more secure. DISH is honored to share the inspiring stories of resilience from those who have courageously served our country, showcasing and celebrating how these retired Warriors continue to serve their communities. The first Warrior story is Angie Peacock, a retired sergeant in the Army. After serving in Iraq during the early 2000s, Angie suffered from PTSD and struggled with mental health issues. She recently sat down with DISH and shared her recovery, and her pursuit to help others with similar issues. Angie sold her home, bought an RV and now travels the country aiding vets and others with their mental health issues. Follow these amazing Warriors’ stories on the DISH Facebook and YouTube pages.
